1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Pilot Cars & Permits website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Services Description

Pilot Cars & Permits provides a platform connecting trucking companies with certified pilot car escorts for oversize load transportation. We facilitate the ordering, assignment, and management of pilot car services.

3. User Responsibilities

For Trucking Companies:

• Provide accurate load information
• Ensure all permits and documentation are in order
• Communicate effectively with assigned pilots
• Make timely payments for services rendered

For Pilot Car Escorts:

• Maintain valid certifications and insurance
• Provide accurate location information when sharing
• Fulfill assigned orders professionally
• Communicate promptly with dispatchers and drivers

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services. Credit card payments incur a 4% processing fee. We reserve the right to place a temporary hold on your card for the estimated service amount.

5. Cancellation Policy

• Orders cancelled more than 24 hours before pickup: No charge
• Orders cancelled within 24 hours of pickup: 50% cancellation fee
• Orders cancelled after pilot dispatch: Full charge applies

6. Liability Limitations

Pilot Cars & Permits acts as a facilitator between trucking companies and independent pilot car operators. We are not liable for damages, delays, or issues arising from the services provided by independent contractors.

7. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pilot Cars & Permits from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their use of the service or violation of these terms.

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
